A few words about shipping

Most of our customers ship their watches to us and we send them back through mail as well. There are quite a few things to think about when shipping watches. Please read this page carefully to fully understand the important pieces. Besides this we will send shipping instructions with our address.

Packaging

International mail is rough. The postmen throw with our packages. Let's make sure they can handle that! We always wrap your watch in bubble plastic and ship it inside a cardboard box. This is a good idea for you too. Please note when we receive a package we try to keep the world a green place by reusing packaging material. Unusable material we throw away. So don't expect your watch to be returned inside the packaging you used yourself. We cannot process it that way. Please send just the watch, not the box. We can do nothing with it and it will probably make return shipping more expensive. It breaks often as we have seen. Although you should in some cases mention the contents on the export sticker, please don't make the contents too recognizable. Thieves love watches.

Registered/tracked/insured or not

Valuable goods should be sent registered and we do this by standard. For very cheap parts like batteries, bezels and battery covers sending registered is not economical. Please understand that if the shipment gets lost we have no warranty for it. We cannot control unregistered post and have no proof of arrival. In this case all you can do is order a new one.

When your package arrives with us

Many customers have track and trace on their package to us. So they can see when it arrives with us. Please don't ask whether your package has come in or not when you know it has. Answering these questions makes our services more expensive. Also when it comes in it needs to be processed and wait in the handling queue. We also have holidays and busy periods. It is not handled right away! As soon as we inspect it we will come back to you with our analysis. Thanks for your understanding.

When our package comes your way

When we ship our package to you we don't normally provide the track and trace code. This has several reasons. We find the tracking information to abroad to have a very long lag. Also visual tracking sometimes stops at the border. And finally, it just takes us time and we want to keep our services affordable. Please don't ask us for the tracking information after we ship the package to you. When the package takes much longer than the expected transit time it will be a good idea to contact us providing your postal code. We will then pick up the tracking info.
