Custom made Irony Automatic
For one of our customers we made this custom Irony Automatic. It was made by hand at his exact specifications. The result is a unique piece of Swatch art combined with technology that will last a very long time.
Please take a tour through the steps needed to create it:
First of all these are the donor Swatches that we used. A Gents for the dial, An Irony Automatic for the hands and its case and a new Automatic for its movement.
We broke off the crystal of the Gents.
The hands were put aside for future use.
The dial was carefully stored.
Turn around the Irony to reveal its backside.
Carefully take off the plastic back.
Take off the crown and remove the movement from its case.
Take off the hands and store safely.
Now take the brand new Automatic movement and put it into the Irony fitting ring.
Next put on the dial and fix it into place.
Place the hands in their correct position.
Put the movement into the case and press on the back. And here is the finished product. It's great and unique!
Rebuild into Irony Automatic
Another customer had a Swatch Irony that could not be repaired. Because he liked the design very much and wanted to wear
it again we fitted it into an Irony Automatic. As you can see I used one from the new Automatic series that have different

We love making creations like this one. And yes, we can do the same kind of thing for you! If you have an idea, just share it with us and we will see what we can do. The Irony Chrono, the Gents and the Automatic are best suited for your needs.
A word of warning! We do encourage you all to experiment with your Swatch watches. But even though the story above may seem simple and easy, it is far from. So only try this if you are truly handy, if you have the tools needed and when you are ready and prepared to demolish several pieces. When you try this you are on your own. Swatch watches are made to be free of service. The things we do to them are normally not possible. Several parts are fixed in a one time only manner. One has to break things to free them and use tricks to re-attach them. It has taken us a long time and many broken Swatches to learn this. So best let us do the work!
